Thin Earth, Thick Life

At the end of the Modern Age, your freedom is checked by the earth’s agency. The sky is too near the earth. You are too close to every being. Compressed in a thin layer of increasingly troubled air, you become pupil (and victim) of Newton’s Third Law.  Reduced to living in a narrow patina of life on the surface of a spinning stone, you may find different allegiances, and claim a different fate.
